This website is designed to introduce you to Mike Fayman and his family and to keep you updated in his battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.

Mike was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on May 8th, 2006. He  is currently undergoing Chemo at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He will be hospitalized in Omaha for the next 6 months with only a couple of intermittent weeks to be home with his family in Lincoln. Mike found out that he has a very rare form of Leukemia complicated by a missing or damaged chromosome.  He has been told that with treatment, he will have approximately 2 years to be with his family and a 5% chance of 5 years.  Without treatment, he has approximately 6 months.

Mike is 56 years old and  is married to Jody (Schroder).  They have 5 children,  Michelle 18, Elizabeth 16, Alex 14, Katelynn 10 and Hannah is 8.  Mike and Jody are self employed.  They have home-schooled their children throughout their entire education.  Michelle and Elizabeth are graduates, while  Alex, Katelynn and Hannah are still home educated. 

The Fayman family attends Lincoln Bible Church and have ongoing support with their friends and family.  If you have any questions regarding how you can help the Fayman family in donations or assistance, please contact the appropriate coordinators below;
